In John Hayashi: The Legendary Zombie Hunter, you must play as John Hayashi and dive into the enemy’s territory, using your two famous weapons, the revolver and the katana sword, to slaughter zombies and other demons! The entire game takes place on a single screen, with each level set in a fixed frame. You appear on the left side as the main character, while enemies emerge from a portal on the right and attack you. Your task is to shoot them from a distance with your revolver or, when they get close in large numbers, eliminate them with your swords! But these two weapons are not your only tools against enemies. In John Hayashi: The Legendary Zombie Hunter, you can find other powerful weapons or purchase different items from the shop. The hero upgrade system offers interesting features where you can add new abilities and skills to John Hayashi by leveling up. Your primary goal is to destroy the enemy army and their portals. However, your ultimate objective is to find the main enemy leader, a powerful great demon, waiting for you on the top floor of the fortress. But can you reach him, or will his forces stop you? John Hayashi: The Legendary Zombie Hunter features 2.5D animated-style graphics similar to arcade games. The gameplay is smooth and entertaining, though somewhat repetitive and tiring overall.
