HyperRogue Gold – Treasure Discovery Adventure is an entertaining game with very simple designs in the strategy genre, developed by Zeno Rogue studio and released on Google Play for Android phones and tablets at a price of $2.99. This game is actually a sequel to HyperRouge. In this game, you play as an adventurer stepping into a non-Euclidean world. A world that does not follow the well-known Euclidean rules and has a unique shape and form. Your task is to act as this adventurer to discover valuable jewels hidden in this world and collect as many different jewels as possible. But doing this is not as easy as you might think. In this strange world, there are monster-like creatures that attack you as soon as they see you. Therefore, you must collect as much gold and jewels as possible as quickly as you can before these monsters reach you. Throughout HyperRogue Gold, you will travel to various places and worlds, each differing in appearance and other features. For example, each world has its own enemies, obstacles, and jewels, and to excel in each, you must first become familiar with the location and identify its characteristics. In these stages, your focus should be on finding the main and more valuable jewels known as the Orbs of Yendor. If you find one of them, you win, but you can continue the challenges and settle for collecting smaller jewels.
It is worth noting that what makes HyperRogue Gold a different and challenging game is its gameplay style. The world the main character enters is not geometrically or geographically like Earth, and the developers refer to it as a “world with unusual geometry.” These worlds are represented with geometric shapes, but the point is that no rules apply to them. For example, straight lines in this game only appear straight, and as soon as you try to move along them, you realize they are not straight! In fact, the developers of HyperRogue Gold have tried to make the game harder for players by adding an optical illusion system. These factors make this game, unlike common games, a unique and competitive experience.
