APEX Racer – Professional Driver is an independent project from a new five-member UK studio called PIXELDEV GAMES, released as a free title for Android devices. This game is exclusively available for the Android operating system, and at the time of release, there is no information about whether the developers plan to release it on other platforms or operating systems. PIXELDEV GAMES used pixel art designs in creating this game, and given the studio’s name, it is likely that future projects will also feature pixel art design and development. APEX Racer, as the studio’s first official project, has made an attractive and enjoyable start in the pixel art style to attract fans of this genre. Note that another game with a very similar title called Apex Racing has also been released, which was previously introduced in another DroidCove article. These two games are different and only share similar names.

However, the tuning and customization feature is probably the most attractive and strong point of APEX Racer, as it gives you access to a vast range of modifications, upgrades, and tuning items. You can customize your car’s appearance or make technical changes to gain an advantage in races. As mentioned, the game focuses on exciting drag races. These races do not include winding roads, drifting, obstacle navigation, or lane switching. Your main task in these competitions is to shift gears at the best possible time.
