This city, which has peaceful and calm inhabitants, is soon thrown into chaos by a gang of violent and evil animals called the Vermin Gang, and fear replaces friendship and intimacy! In such situations, there is always a hero who rises against these disorders and fights them! In the game Hamsterdam, it is the same! A cute hamster named Pimm, who at first is also a victim of harassment by these evil animals, is going to become the hero of the story and save the city from the Vermin gang! You, as Pimm, must first learn martial arts skills from a martial arts master in Hamster-Fu to prevent these animals. After that, when you are ready to battle and cleanse the city of enemies, you realize that the Vermin gang members have committed multiple crimes and even kidnapped your master! Now the only hope of Hamsterdam city is you! You must go after the enemies in various missions and stages and defeat them with stunning strikes.
Unlike most similar fighting games that use virtual buttons, Hamsterdam has a different gameplay and is played by timed specific strikes. Simply put, to hit enemies you must perform the required command exactly when the corresponding icon appears on the screen. For example, an icon with a left arrow may appear, and to deliver an accurate and proper strike to the enemies, you must place your hand on the icon at the right moment and swipe in the indicated direction (in this example, left).
