Kingdom Defense 2: Empire Warriors is a beautiful and entertaining strategy game with popular tower defense gameplay, released after the first installment (Kingdom Defense: Hero Legend TD). Following its popularity, it was produced and released for free on Android phones and tablets. Although there are structural and gameplay changes compared to the first part, the core appearance and essence of the second part remain just like the first. In Kingdom Defense 2: Empire Warriors, you must protect your kingdom from large waves of monsters and demons, using various forces and dedicated warriors to fight the enemies. If you are familiar with tower defense games, you know that these games feature a path with several twists and turns. Your enemies move along this path from the starting point toward your kingdom. You must strategically place your combat forces around this path so that as soon as enemies approach, your forces attack them. When the number of enemies is large or they have stronger forces, you will need to place troops further back to reduce the chance of enemies reaching the end point and infiltrating your kingdom if they break through the first defense lines! The game design offers a large map scale, which makes items and game pieces smaller but allows you to place more forces at critical points and have a broader view of the map and enemy movements.
In Kingdom Defense 2: Empire Warriors, you must earn points and money to unlock better troops or upgrade them. Higher levels present tougher challenges, and the only way to succeed is to prepare your forces well. Your enemies include skeletons, orcs, goblins, werewolves, and other demonic creatures that will relentlessly try to destroy your kingdom. The game also features interesting abilities such as using special items and forces. For example, you can use a meteor strike item to destroy groups of enemies or a revival item to increase your troops’ health. The campaign mode includes over 20 stages available on a large map. To unlock new stages, you must complete previous ones. Besides this mode, Kingdom Defense 2: Empire Warriors offers other modes like tournaments and daily challenges. The game has been downloaded over 500,000 times and holds a 4.4 out of 5.0 rating on Google Play.
